The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health's Office of Financial Strategy & Planning plays an important role in education and student finance, and seeks a Financial Manager to focus on the both operational finances of two of the School's PhD programs, and also the planning and strategy for the student funding. Reporting to the Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Manager of Finance and Administration will have financial oversight of the Population Health Science (PHS) and the Biological Sciences in Public Health (BPH) programs.
The PhD in Population Health Studies (PHS) offers advanced doctoral-level research training that builds on multiple disciplinary perspectives to understanding origins and determinants of health and disease across populations. Students in this program are be based at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and belong to one of the following Fields of Study associated with the departments of Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Global Health and Population, Nutrition and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The Biological Science in Public Health (BPH) Program is rooted in the rich and diverse environment of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, dedicated to advancing the public's health through learning, discovery, and communication. The field of public health is inherently multi-disciplinary and so, too, are the interests and expertise of the School's faculty and students, which extend across the biological, quantitative, and social sciences. From advancing scientific research to training national and international leaders, Harvard Chan has been at the forefront of efforts to benefit the health of populations worldwide.

MBA or Master's degree in relevant field preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills preferred
Working knowledge of basic and advanced financial administration principles preferred
