The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the school's financial management and accounting functions in accordance with the school and Diocesan mission including the development and execution of a sustainable financial strategy to ensure the fiscal stability and operational vitality of the school.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
Provide guidance to the Principal, Administrators, Department Heads and various committees of the School on all matters related to finance including financial planning, budgeting, risk management, internal control, cash flow, financial priorities, and policy matters.
Liaison to School Finance Committee, bank, credit card processors and diocesan finance office. Seek guidance and take direction from the diocesan finance office.
Manage Finance Office whose functions include:
Collect and record all payments of tuition, scholarships and general school revenue.
Record income for departments (athletics, bookstore, etc.).
