The Bertolon School of Business (BSB) at Salem State University is seeking to fill a full-time, temporary, non-tenure-track position in the accounting and finance department for an accounting faculty member. In addition to teaching, faculty members will advise students, perform school service and pursue research. Previous university teaching experience in accounting and pedagogical or applied research in accounting topics are strongly valued.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with theMSCA contract. Duties include teaching, advising, and contributions to continuously improve the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is subject to available funding.
An MBA or MS in accounting with at least 60 graduate credits (including credits for the degree). Recent practice in public or private-sector accounting with some research activity in accounting topics.
A PhD/DBA in accounting or relevant doctorate; previous university teaching experience in accounting; pedagogical and applied research in accounting topics; experience in and commitment to teaching in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic environment with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles and experience in online learning and instructional technologies.
