Vapor, which includes devices and consumables of the VUSE family (Alto, Solo, Ciro and Vibe), is a big part of our transformation journey. This Director of Finance role will business partner with a cross-functional team to provide strategic financial guidance in driving the growth of this new category. Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to, overseeing financial forecasts, business cases, detailed marketing investment plans and providing thoughtful insights on key business decisions. In addition, the incumbent will focus on the professional development of his/her team. This role will report directly to Senior Director of Commercial Finance - Vapor.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner with multiple senior stakeholders and provide strategic and financial guidance to the Vapor team, specifically on marketing investment initiatives
Presents and communicate to senior stakeholders the forecasts, performance and potential risks/opportunities of financial performance
Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency within the commercial finance team
Provide guidance and support to the Brand Team for Quarterly and Annual Plans
Supports the development of business cases related to New Categories opportunities (THP, next generation devices, etc.)
Coach, mentor and develop the team, providing career development planning and opportunities
Driving ad-hoc projects as required
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area 10 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or relevant area CPA, MBA, MAC or international equivalent
Strong business acumen. Understand market dynamics and demand patterns
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts
Ability to effectively work in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment
Demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking with strong influencing and leadership skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to tailor communication relative to the style and needs of others
Delegates tasks and provides clear and appropriate expectations
Ability to work under minimal supervision; must be a self-starter
Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability
Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary
Strong track record of leading and developing others
High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
