The Role Responsibilities
· Detailed monitoring of the Singapore Balance Sheet to ensure that the objectives of the Transformational project are achieved. · Providing support to the Finance lead for the transformation project in the liaising with other departments for the execution of the project · Coordinating the analysis of all Cost centres in the Branch and working with various stakeholders to decide on the destination model for the SG Branch · Coordinating with the Nostro setup for Account Payable, formulating changes in process for SGD/FCy related payments · Closing out legacy issues on Inter-Company balances and continued review and risk monitoring of all Inter-Co balances. · Monitoring of ledger controls and identification of financial risks arising from change projects · Providing assistance on Business related transfers and migration of balances · Provide support on all Change related projects impacting Singapore Finance
Our Ideal Candidate
Preferable to have relevant accounting qualification (e.g. accounting degree, ACCA, CPA).
Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and attention for details.
Strong track record in Finance BAU across different Finance teams and environments. Some experience outside SCB would be an advantage, but is not essential
First-class communication skills, written and oral; quick to grasp strategic concepts and able to explain them to others simply and with conviction
Maturity, experience and gravitas to engage effectively with senior stakeholders within the Bank
Ability to work through a matrix reporting model, and to manage and influence indirect reports
Self-starter with the tenacity, drive and organisation needed to manage around organisational obstacles
