Treasury Operations and Payments Compliance is responsible for the strategy development and delivery of UCLA Treasury's operating and payments initiatives. In collaboration with campus and UC leadership and stakeholders, the Manager, Treasury Operations and Payments Compliance will lead strategy and influence the development of practices and policies to effectively deliver banking and payments services consistent with UCLA's mission to the campus community while maintaining compliance under University, regulatory and payment card industry standards.
As a subject matter expert in the areas of Treasury operations, payments acceptance and compliance standards including Payment Card Industry (PCI), the Manager, Treasury Operations and Payments Compliance, together with his/her staff will be a key resource to campus organizations and functional departments with respect to the banking operations and bank system security. The manager will also be responsible for managing the establishment of payment acceptance capability and service provider relationships, including financial institutions responsible for banking and merchant card processing services, alternative payments providers and consultants or other services necessary to enable the delivery of services to meet customer objectives and ensure compliance under payment security standards.
As a subject matter expert, he/she will keep abreast of current domestic and international banking and regulatory requirements and PCI standards as they apply to UCLA's current and future strategy in the area of Treasury and payments. The Manager, Treasury Operations and Payments Compliance also will also be responsible for ensuring effective communication and execution of current compliance requirements under PCI data security standards across UCLA.

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent education and experience.
4-6 years of relevant Treasury or business/finance experience in corporate or higher education setting
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
Demonstrated experience and current knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. PCI/DSS) related to the acceptance of payment cards and the requirements and processes needed for compliance under such standards
Demonstrated experience and ability to manage multiple projects and lead initiatives from inception to successful conclusion
Strong analytic skills
Strong leadership skills and ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
Detail oriented with well-developed organizational and time management skills
Ability to think strategically across the multiple businesses of the university
Ability to effectively communicate and influence action in a credible manner with leadership and staff in writing and in person
Ability to build relationships and work across the university and UC system in a collaborative manner
Good presentation skills to influence actions in interpersonal or large group settings
Able to independently and proactively take initiative and work on multiple priorities
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation in good standing
Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree in finance, or related field
