The Director of Finance provides strategic financial planning including the annual budget process, financial reporting and provider productivity reporting, and all other financial initiatives for the Bon Secours Medical Group - Richmond. This critical role will report directly to the VP of Finance and will create a financial plan that allows us to provide savings to the patients without sacrificing quality. Compensation package including base salary with Leadership Incentive Bonus.
Work requires a Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar fields.
Requires previous work experience and knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles, financial analysis, business law and statistics.
Requires previous work experience and knowledge of physician practice financial management.
Work requires a minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience, including healthcare financial management and external financial reporting.
Requires extensive knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and payer rules and regulations.
Requires experience in managing financial analysis and budgeting activities for large medical groups with a least 100 physicians..
Requires previous work experience demonstrating a high level of problem-solving skills necessary in order to develop and implement new systems or processes; writing proposals and reports; and, presenting information to groups and individuals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced skills in MS Office technology especially MS Excel and Powerpoint.
