Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information; documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Enforces adherence to federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, and advises management on needed actions. Reconciles financial discrepancies.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action.
Assist with Financial Audit and Single Audit.
Assist with budget review and projected spending.
Prepare monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly AR schedule.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts including AR, prepaid accounts and AP on a monthly basis.
Back-up for processing payroll and accounts payable.
Full Time (37.5 hours/week) with benefits.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related degree with an accounting concentration, and a minimum of three years of experience performing accounting duties and/or corporate finance, required. Advanced manual and automated accounting skills, including advanced skills with automated accounting software, required.
